Our new centre is located at Leeds Bridge House on Hunslet Road in the city centre (shown on the left). Please do not confuse us with the similarly named Bridge House, located further away from the city centre but also on Hunslet Road).
Getting there:Walking from the City Centre
The Buddhist Centre is about 10 mins walk from the bottom of Briggate. Cross Boar Lane
and continue down to Briggate under the railway bridge. Cross the Calls and continue over
Leeds Bridge. The Centre is on the top floor of the triangular shaped building in front
of you.
By Bus
The following buses stop very near to the centre: 51, 51A, 3, 3A, 12, 13, 13A, 55
By Car
There are pay and display car parks right next to the Buddhist Centre and also in the
centre of Meadow Lane. These are free in the evening.
Getting access to the Centre
The picture on the top left shows the building as you approach it. Go to the right
of the building and the entrance to FWBO Leeds Buddhist Centre is towards the rear of
the building. Press the buzzer to gain entry and come up to the fourth floor.

Getting there:
By foot
Swarthmore Centre can be reached either by the footbridge from Great George Street,
or from Clarendon Road, 5 minutes walk from the Town Hall and the Headrow.
By bus
Bus no. 56 stops at the top of Clarendon Road. Bus nos. 50 and 49 stop on
Park Lane/Westgate by Park Lane College.
By car
Swarthmore Centre can be reached from the Inner Ring Road, exiting at the
Westgate turn-off.Turn right immediately before Park Lane College and continue
into Woodhouse Square. It is usually possible to park near Joseph’s Well after 6.30pm
