Yoga is a way of framing our experience using posture and breath awareness in order to listen more deeply to the intelligence, qualities and responses of the body. It appears to be about static, 'difficult' positions, yet is actually concerned with revealing the body's subtle inner landscape of continuous, kindly, sensual opening and freeing flow.
I'm passionate about yoga techniques coming to meet each individual exactly where they are; participants in my classes have included those with disabilities, dancers and athletes, mediators, the deskbound, the totally unfit and inflexible, old and young. My main influence has been the style of Vanda Scaravelli (combining breath, gravity, levity and spine awareness) and I've studied a variety of approaches to working through and with the body over the past 26 years.
I am fully qualified and insured and have been teaching yoga as my main occupation for 16 years. Classes are friendly and participants generally report that they feel relaxed and renewed afterwards and able to employ techniques in everyday circumstances. I welcome enquiries:

Note:There are plenty of blocks and cushions but please bring a mat or blanket if you'd prefer not to work on the carpet. Bring extra layers to be cosy if you feel the cold.
