Meditation

What is Meditation?

Meditation enables us to put Buddhist ideas into practice.

We teach two meditation practices. The first is called 'The Mindfulness of Breathing' which is a simple and direct way of developing awareness and calm; the other is called 'The Metta Bhavana' and allows us to cultivate emotional warmth, kindness and friendliness towards ourselves and others. Both practices are simple in their form but far reaching in their effects.

Meditation is a method of self-transformation placing us at the point from which we can creatively shape our own destiny.

We run various courses and retreats to suit both beginners and those more experienced.

For further information about the meditation practices we teach see the Wildmind Buddhist Meditation website.
